Before you create the team

Pick a short slug your operators will recognize. It becomes the stable team identifier.
Use an owner email that stays under team control. It becomes the first admin login and default contact email.
Phone is optional, but adding it now means the team profile is mostly complete on first login.

Pilot teams still start on the free plan. Automatic billing will live here later, but the signup flow should already capture the core team profile cleanly.
